Welcome to Artistic Hair Salon Melbourne. By using our website, booking services, or purchasing products (in-salon or online), you agree to the following legally binding Terms & Conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a booking, placing an order, or using our website, you acknowledge that you’ve read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with services or purchases.

2. Pricing & Payment

• All prices are listed in AUD and include GST.
• Prices may change at any time but are confirmed at time of booking or checkout.
• Accepted payments: Cash, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, AfterPay (if available).
• A non-refundable deposit may be required for services or custom orders.

3. Bookings, Cancellations & No-Shows

• Please provide 48 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellation or rescheduling.
• Late cancellations (<48 hrs) will result in a 50% fee or loss of deposit.
• No-shows are charged 100% of the booked service and may require full prepayment for future bookings.

4. Late Arrival

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be shortened or rescheduled. A partial fee may still apply.

5. Client Responsibility & Hair Health

• Clients must inform staff of allergies, sensitivities, past chemical treatments, or medical conditions prior to service.
• We are not liable for outcomes impacted by undisclosed hair/scalp conditions.
• Extension results may vary depending on hair type, care, and environmental exposure.

6. Hair Extensions Policy

• We only use 100% Remy human hair.
• Extensions must be maintained as per our aftercare instructions—non-compliance voids any remedy or redo.
• DIY removal or tampering voids all support and warranty.
• Colouring, bleaching, or cutting extensions post-purchase is at your own risk.

7. Returns, Hygiene & Faulty Products

• For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns of opened, worn, used, coloured, or unsealed extensions or hair products.
• You may return unused, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for store credit or exchange (less handling and shipping costs).
• A 5% restocking fee may apply.
• Faulty or incorrect items must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
• All returns must be pre-approved by our team and accompanied by proof of purchase.

8. Refunds & Redo’s

• No refunds are provided for change of mind, dissatisfaction with colour/length after consultation, or improper aftercare.
• In line with Australian Consumer Law, clients are entitled to a remedy (repair, redo, replacement, or refund) if services are faulty or not provided with reasonable care.
• All claims must be submitted within 7 days of service or delivery.

9. Shipping Policy

• We ship Australia-wide.
• Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
• No delivery to PO Boxes.
• Free standard shipping on orders over [Insert Amount].
• We are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers.
• Tracking will be provided via email once dispatched.

10. Colour & Quality Disclaimer

• Slight variations in tone, length, or texture may occur between batches.
• We do our best to ensure colour accuracy, but screen settings and lighting can affect appearance.
• Colour fading, dryness, or shedding may occur due to heat styling, colouring, or incorrect product use—these are not considered defects.

11. Gift Cards & Vouchers

• Valid for 3 years from the issue date unless otherwise specified.
• Cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced.

12. Website Use

• You may browse and shop the website for personal use only.
• You must not:

  • Copy, scrape, or reproduce any content for commercial use
  • Violate any applicable laws or breach our system
